Zoning Bylaws - to assure the location of storage shed on a plot plan meets the proper zoning setbacks.

Storage Sheds 200 SQ. FT. OR LESS, placed on residential property, must meet the requirements above, but may not require a Building Permit.

Storage Sheds GREATER than 200 SQ. FT. placed on residential property, must meet the requirements above and will require a building permit with detailed foundation and framing plans.

FENCES

It is recommended that ALL FENCES are placed a few feet from a property lot line (so it can be maintained on both sides without trespassing), and upon installation that the "good side" face out.

Fences taller than 7 FT. high placed on residential property, will require a building permit (since it is regulated under Massachusetts State Building Code for structures).

Fences are not specifically regulated by the Templeton Zoning Bylaws.
