10 Pleasant Street Notice

The Town went out to bid for the asbestos abatement and to demolish the building at 10 Pleasant Street.  The successful bidder is Associated Building Wreckers out of Springfield, MA.  The building is being prepared for demolition. The property has been successfully treated for rodent issues and the inspection has been completed.  Today, the sewer and water lines have been cut and capped.  We want residents to be aware of this work.  The DPW will be coordinating the temporary closure of Pleasant in the immediate vicinity of the building during demolition operations.
