Citizen of the Year Award~New to Annual Town Meeting

The Board of Selectmen voted at its' meeting of February 26, 2020, to implement a Citizen of the Year Award to be presented at the Annual Town Meeting to the person or group that best fits the parameters of the award. The decision of who the honoree will be is made by the Town Administrator with input from members of the Board of Selectmen. Templeton has many volunteers and this will not be an easy decision.

Anyone can complete a nomination form, however, we urge you to keep in mind that the Town wishes to keep the honoree in the dark about being honored until the award is announced at the Annual Town Meeting, and anyone filling out the form will need to supply a contact person whom can be sure the honoree is in attendance at the Annual Town Meeting in order to receive the award.
