Hamlett Mill Bridge Repairs Press Release
Bridge will be closed 4/27/20 and 4/28/20

The Hamlett Mill Bridge has been inspected by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) bridge engineers and they ultimately gave us three options: Close the bridge, reduce it to one lane, or do an emergency repair. The repair will give us three to five years to have a better plan in place. The bridge has been slowly deteriorating over the years like the Main street bridge.
The Town of Templeton will be doing the emergency repair using Chapter 90 dollars allocated from the Commonwealth. The bridge will be closed 4/27/20 and 4/28/20 for these repairs. There will be no through traffic on these days. Please plan accordingly.
