NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Templeton Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Town Hall, 160 Patriots Road, East Templeton, MA, at 6:45 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a proposed Federal FY’19 grant application to the MA Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, and to report on the accomplishments of recent prior grants. The Town intends to seek funding to upgrade infrastructure components of Orchard Lane. The grant application may request funding for additional activities.

Any person or organization so wishing will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. Suggestions for other potential activities for the FY’19 grant application, comments on the outcomes and the effectiveness of previous CDBG programs/projects awarded to the Town may be made at the hearing or before the hearing in writing to the Town Administrator, PO Box 620, East Templeton, MA  01438 or via email.

The Town encourages a broad spectrum of participation by residents and other interested parties in order to better understand and serve the needs of the community. The hearing location is accessible to persons with physical disabilities.
