Resurfacing Route 2 in Phillipston and Templeton.

The Town received notice that P.J. Keating is the General Contractor for the MASSDOT project on Rt. 2. that will commence on April 10th, 2023. On the full notice (link below) please find a locus map of the project.

Please be prepared for additional traffic and travel times in the areas of the road work, off the exits, and on Rt. 2a and other town roads due to the road project. 

This project consists of resurfacing Route 2 in Phillipston and Templeton. The eastern limit is the
Templeton/Gardner Town Line, mile 84.92. The western limit is located at a pavement joint just
west Rt 202 at mile 78.89. The total length of this project is approximately 6.0 miles. The limits of work also include the ramps at exit 83, 82, 79 and the eastbound rest area just west of the Templeton/Gardner town line. For full notice, click here to view the full notice.
