To be appointed in time for the first Department Reviews meeting, we will need completed forms by September 20, 2023 at 4:30p.m. Forms received after September 20, but on or before October 4, 2023, at 4:30p.m. would result in a potential appointment by the Select Board at their meeting of October 11.
The Capital Improvements Committee meets at approximately 7 meetings between September and December at which they hear from all departments and committees wishing to request capital items (vehicles and other needed items) for their departments. The committee is responsible for putting forth recommendations to the Select Board that the committee has voted they believe should be purchased. The Town's By-law explains further.
