Members Needed for the Narragansett Regional Agreement Amendment Committee

The Narragansett Regional School Committee is forming a sub-committee of the School Committee that will be called the Regional Agreement Amendment Committee (RAAC). This committee will be comprised of one member of the Select Board from each town (Templeton & Phillipston), one member of each town's finance committee, two members of the School Committee from each town, and two community members-at-large from each town.

This committee will be charged with reviewing the current agreement to recommend updates to the School Committee. At the end of the RAAC process and approval by the DESE commissioner, the Regional School Committee will vote whether or not to request from each member town's Board of Selectmen/Select Board to put the amended Regional Agreement on the next Annual or Special Town meeting for a vote of the participants.

If you are interested in representing Templeton as one of the at-large members, please submit your completed committee interest form on or before October 13, 2020 at the close of business (4:30 p.m.).  The Select Board will be appointing 2 representatives at their meeting on October 14.
