Town Roads & Initiatives ~ Project Highlights

Hamlet Mill Road

Our third highlight will be town roads and initiatives that are complete or will be getting completed relatively soon.   As one can see in the photo, Hamlet Mill Road has been resurfaced with Winter Recovery Assistance Program (WRAP) monies. Hamlet Mill also received new street signs as well.  The Town is in the process of replacing all street signs as part of a phased plan so folks will see these improvements throughout town which has been funded out of the Town's free cash.  Additionally, a portion of Brooks Road was redone using the WRAP monies.

The Town has been diligent following a Pavement Management Plan from 2018 while prioritizing our roadways.  Please click below to find it.

The Director of Public Services and his team have worked hard to get us to where we are today.  They are currently installing new traffic improvement signage for Dudley Road and Barre Road. The materials were provided to the Town through the FoRRRwD program as the Town of Templeton entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

The Select Board have approved the Director of Public Services' Chapter 90 Plan on May 24, 2023 which will result in Highland Avenue, Shore Drive as well as a portion of South Main getting resurfaced and crack sealing getting done on Baldwinville Road and Partridgeville Road.  Keep an eye out for these upcoming Chapter 90 projects.
